who are we?
SEÑORAS is a creative studio based in New York City, working at the intersection of art, nature, and design.
The project originated in 2018 during Maria Paula’s studies at the School of Visual Arts in New York, where the SEÑORAS illustrations were first developed. In 2019, SEÑORAS launched in Bogotá, Colombia, and has since continued to evolve both conceptually and materially.
As the project evolved, so did the relationship behind it. In 2026, SEÑORAS is rebranded and relaunched as a shared endeavor led by Juan David, designer and the business mind and Maria Paula, artist and illustrator of the SEÑORAS universe. Today, they manage the studio together, expanding the illustrated world into floral design, objects, and thoughtful gifts, where illustration moves beyond paper and flowers become expressive, sculptural compositions.
Each piece is created with intention, emphasizing beauty, narrative, and craftsmanship. SEÑORAS reflects what we love to create, and we hope you love it too.
